Food makes me happy and even more so, Japanese food. I am 11 years old (end of 6th grade) and enjoy being in the kitchen, using recipes, but also just playing around with different ingredients. This is my first blog post of many more, with recipes to share and stories to tell. I'm in school so the smaller recipes are simple for after school, and the bigger ones are definitely for the weekend. I admit that I'm a messy cook, so I try to explain in the recipes how to plan out your time and organize your space. You will also find some ingredient descriptions, where to find them and what to use them for. I have included some histories of ingredients, but I promise they will be more interesting than the history lesson I had in class today. Itadakimasu! A.K.A. let's eat!
